Though we started our Film journey together when Sajid Wajid played us their first song ‘Teri Jawani Badi Mast Mast’… we didn’t use the song as we didn’t have no film going at that time… Our mentor Salman Khan took that song… And ironically it was Salman only who brought us together in the year 2010… When Salman wanted us to Direct the first ‘Naina’ song for Dabbang… It was the song ‘Mast Mast Do Nain’… the song was already shot by someone else and as desired by Salman we reshot the song within a week with our interpretation of the song… Salman was happy.. we all were happy… but what we all didn’t know at that time was that we were creating a cult classic & a musical history in a week.. With our visual of ‘Hearts’ in Salman’s glasses becoming the iconic visuals… also what most didn’t know that it started another iconic musical brand between Salman Khan, Sajid Wajid, Radhika Rao & Vinay Sapru… The ‘Naina’ brand… Which till now have resulted in 6 Blockbuster ‘Naina’ songs… with every Dabbang franchise featuring one.. till this year’s release Dabbang 3… The smile when every time Wajid… sang the new ‘Naina’ song was infectious… it used to let the visuals flow in our minds.. But…. now….

They say the show must go on… Yes it might also… But the journey of ‘Naina’ songs will always be incomplete without our composer & friend ‘Wajid’… Didn’t know the lyrics of last ‘Naina’ song ‘Farebi Naina’… we will say to you Wajid… Yes you went too soon… will always ‘Miss You Friend’…RIP..🌸
